Kenny Chesney Look-Alike Kicked Out of Concert

Tennessee school teacher Nathan Blakenship attended the Brothers of the Sun tour stop in Nashville Saturday night dressed in a blue sleeveless shirt and a straw cowboy hat. Four hours later, he found himself being escorted out of the concert by LP Field security.

The reason? He looked too much like Kenny Chesney.

"Just got kicked out of [Kenny Chesney] concert because drunk people thought I was actually him," Blakenship tweeted after being ejected. "No refund... so mad."

After being accompanied out of the stadium, the LP Field security told him he was being kicked out because he was "purposefully trying to impersonate a celebrity."

Blakenship spent $200 on his ticket, but says he's mostly upset about a comment made by one of the security members, who said the order to escort him out was "coming straight from the top." WKRN, the Nashville local TV station, contacted LP Field officials who said they had been "tipped off" about Blakenship before the concert.

Kenny Chesney's publicist released a statement saying that Chesney and his affiliates were not "aware that this fan had been escorted from the show until it had been reported by the media."

Additionally, Concert promoter Kate MacMahon said, "We never want our fans to leave disappointed and we are reaching out to him to make this situation right."
