Solo traveler given a "friend" to keep company while dining alone

I personally like eating alone, but I know that many people aren't into it. One restaurant in Mumbai, India has found a way to make that solo dining experience a little more palatable, and the Internet loves it.

Traveler Prakash Mallya recently shared a picture of a single goldfish named “Antonio” swimming in a bowl that was brought to his table when he went out to dinner alone. “The hotel staff come by to leave this on my table as company given I was eating alone,” he shared. “So nice & thoughtful and something that’s never happened in all my travel thus far.”

The post has since been liked over 13,000 times and retweeted over 2,000 times, with many folks sharing their similar experiences, although some were concerned about how the fish was being cared for but the restaurant assured everyone they were indeed treated well.

What a sweet thing to do! Everyone say hi to Antonio the Fish!
