Cops are called on neighbor while watching Lightning game

This sounds like something that would happen to me...and it makes me happy I don't live in an apartment anymore.

On Wednesday night, a very excited Lightning fan was watching the Stanley Cup Finals and yelling at the TV. He was shouting "Shoot, shoot" during the game, and a concerned neighbor called the police. Turns out the neighbor thought he was referring to shooting a gun (?) rather than shooting the puck, and thought there was a crime being committed.

Moments later, Hillsborough Sheriff's Deputies knocked on the door, thinking there were guns being shot. The resident simply said, "Nope, we're cheering for Stamkos!" Fortunately, the police completely understood and laughed it off!

THAT'S how you know you're a mega-fan!

ps--the Lightning play Game 4 tonight against the Stars at 8pm.
