Buccaneers Tackle Jeremy Trueblood may have missed a golden opportunity to get a starting job this week due to illness.

He was one of four canidates, that were vying for the starting right guard job, along with Ted Larsen, Jamon Meredith, and Cody Wallace. Trueblood who had been their starting tackle before losing his spot to Demar Dotson, came down with a stomach virus which made him unable to practice.

Coach Greg Schiano, during his press conference that was heard live on Monday, October 8th on WDAE said, " (Trueblood) has some kind of stomach virus or something. He couldn't practice. He tried, but he just couldn't. We have a couple guys not feeling not feeling so well."

There are no other other practices slated for this week, which will make it very difficult for Trueblood to climb the depth chart.
