The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have placed CB Myron Lewis on Injured Reserve and were awarded G Hayworth Hicks off of waivers from Kansas City.
Since being drafted by the Buccaneers in 2010, Lewis has played in 28 games, with one start, recording 17 tackles, four passes defensed, and three special teams tackles.
The Buccaneers were awarded Hicks off of waivers from Kansas City. Hicks (6-3, 336) entered the league as a college free agent with Indianapolis in 2012, and has spent time on the active roster for the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs this season.
The team also announced that they have waived WR David Gilreath.
