The Buccaneers have made it clear: They want defensive back Ronde Barber to return for a 17th season.  General Manager Mark Dominik released this statement just a moment ago:

“Coach Schiano and I met with Ronde this past week and expressed our desire for him to return to play another season with the Buccaneers. He asked us for some time to make his decision and we certainly respect that.”

Now, it's up to Barber to decide if he'll return.  The team is giving him plenty of time to make up his mind.
