A trade of some sort seems almost certain from the Buccaneers. How big is the question.
WDAE's Rick Stroud caught up to Bucs GM Mark Dominik in Phoenix Monday at the NFL owners meetings and reports the Bucs may be willing to cough up a first-round pick to acquire Darrelle Revis.
"I'm not going to sit there and be bull-headed and not think, 'what's the best thing for the team going forward?'," said Dominik while discussing the team's desire to use the No. 14 pick.
In what would be a much smaller trade the Bucs, reports Stroud, seem set on dealing away running back LeGarrette Blount. Dominik said "We do like LeGarrette but... if there's a trade that makes sense, we're going to do it."
Stroud's full comments from Dominik on the Revis matter can be found in THIS story.
