Last week, the U-S Anti-Doping Agency released a report of Armstrong’s use of performance-enhancing drugs. Although Armstrong still denies the allegations, he is banned from cycling for life.

SLEEP LESS, GAIN WEIGHT? A new study shows that just a few nights of bad sleep is enough to throw the body’s metabolism into complete disarray. They say 8 – 9 hours is the best!

Is lack of sleep to blame for weight gain? According to a recent medical study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine—it might be. The study shows that just a few nights of bad sleep is enough to throw the body’s metabolism into complete disarray. Apparently, getting four hours of sleep a night for four nights made healthy people’s bodies resistant to insulin – a condition that is a common precursor to weight gain, diabetes and even more serious health problems, like heart disease, stroke and premature death. So, pull your blinds, turn on your sound machine and catch at least eight to nine hours—your health might be determined by a good night’s rest!
