Update on the Angus T Jones rant –

He (Angus) released a statement – basically saying he has respect for all the people he works with on the show and thanks them for the opportunities he has had…he didn’t mean to disrespect any of them…  He doesn’t really apologize for what he said tho.

Here is the official quote:

"While I cannot address everything that's been said or right every misstatement or misunderstanding, there is one thing I want to make clear. "Without qualification, I am grateful to, and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on 'Two and Half Men' with whom I have worked and over the past 10 years, who have become an extension of my family.

--"Chuck Lorre, Peter Roth and many others at Warner Bros. and CBS are responsible for what has been one of the most significant experiences in my life to date.  I thank them for the opportunity they have given and continue to give me . . .-"And the help and guidance I have and expect to continue to receive from them.  "I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed.  I never intended that."

--It also doesn't seem like he intends to take any of it back.  He doesn't directly address what he said and why he said it . . . and aside from referring to something as a "misunderstanding," he isn't backtracking..Here is his full statement

CHARLIE SHEEN commented  - saying Quote, "With Angus's Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it's radically clear to me that the show is cursed." "Hale-Bopp" is a reference to the Heaven's Gate cult, which committed mass suicide in 1997 so their spirits could board an alien ship that was following the Hale-Bopp comet…..koo…koo!!!

You will not see him on the show for the next two weeks -. but this has nothing to do with anything…rather.  His character Jake is in the Army and he wasn’t written into the shows…

Did you know it was the season finale of DWTS last night?  I didn't!

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani won the mirror ball . . . Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough came in second.  (Melissa came in third on Season 8 . . . when Shawn was the champion.  Get the full recap here.)  All star season..pffft!

The Best Time of Day to Do Things

"Real Simple" magazine just released a list of the best times of the day to do nine different things.

--Get a haircut at 8:00 A.M.  You want to be the first appointment of the day.  That's when your barber or stylist is fresh, and by definition, can't be backed up with other appointments that ran long.

--Return things to stores at 10:00 A.M.  When stores open, they have the best ratio of staff to customers.  It's the best time to get service with the fewest other people in the store getting in the way.

--Take a flight between 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M.  That's when there are the fewest weather delays, and it helps you avoid the airport rush.

--Take a nap between 1:00 P.M. and 2:30 P.M.  That's the time that works best with your body's natural rhythms.  And the nap should last 15 to 20 minutes.  Once you pass 30 minutes you'll feel even groggier when you wake up

--Clean the house at 4:00 P.M.  That's when your coordination is at its peak and your mood is the best.

--Ask for a raise at 5:00 P.M.  You want to talk to your boss when they're the least rushed and least likely to get distracted, and that's at the end of the day.

--Do cardio between 5:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.  In the early evening, your lungs use oxygen efficiently, you're more coordinated, and your muscles are warmed up.  Exercise is also an excellent stress reliever from the day.

--Walk the dog between 8:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.  Dogs view walks as their FUN.  Walking your dog at night lets him enjoy the smells and sounds he misses during the day.

--Read something at 10:00 P.M.  With the way your brain is organized, that's when you're most likely to retain information.
