JESSICA SIMPSON'S first Weight Watchers ad hit the Internet yesterday.  In it she says she lost more than 50 pounds,  "I'm only human.  I love food, I love life.  I had no idea I could be so in control and so free at the same time!"

Jimmy Kimmel is moving to 11:35 – he will be going up against the big guys – Jay and Dave…

Jimmy Kimmel doesn’t seem to be worried about going up against Jay Leno now that Jimmy Kimmel Live is moving to 11:35 pm. In a conference call yesterday he compared the Tonight Show host to Jason from the Friday the 13th movies saying, “Just when you think he’s dead, he comes back.”

And Kimmel doesn’t seem to think Jay will be his competition for long. “The fact is that NBC is going to make a decision someday. As much as he would like it, Jay Leno can’t stay on television forever and Jimmy Fallon is the heir apparent,” he explained.

The Tonight Show plans to move up their start time to 11:34 to get a minute head start on the ABC late night talker, which Kimmel takes as a bit of a complement.

JUST SO YOU KNOW

A new app has arrived just in time for New Year’s resolutions.  Fig, which is available for iPhone and Android, is a wellness app that helps users set and keep track of daily, weekly and monthly personal goals.  These can range from not hitting the snooze button to drinking more water to taking the stairs to calling your family.

The theory behind Fig is a holistic approach to wellness that involves taking care of your mind, body and spirit- all three of which will probably need some TLC once the holiday season is through.
