Donna was once a backup singer for THREE DOG NIGHT, before releasing her first big hit, the racy "Love to Love You Baby", in 1975. Her other hits included: "I Feel Love", "MacArthur Park", "She Works Hard for the Money", "Hot Stuff", "Bad Girls", "No More Tears" with BARBRA STREISAND, and "Last Dance" from the "Thank God It's Friday" soundtrack.
Donna won five Grammys, six American Music Awards and was the first African American woman to be nominated for an MTV Video Music Award, for "She Works Hard for the Money".

Battleship" opens this weekend, and it stars Rihanna, Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard from "True Blood" and Brooklyn Decker. It's based on the classic "Battleship" board game, but the plot is about an international naval fleet who have to guard Earth against an army of invading aliens. (--Here's a scene where the crew checks out a captured alien they think is dead . . . but it's actually alive.)
What to Expect When You're Expecting" also opens this weekend, and it has a massive cast. It's based on the book of the same name, and it's about five couples going through the experience of having a baby. (--Here's a scene where two of the couples tell everyone they're pregnant.) (--The pregnant ladies are Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Brooklyn Decker, Elizabeth Banks, and Anna Kendrick. Chris Rock is also in it as one of the experienced fathers in a "dudes group" that meets at the park and takes clueless new dads under their collective wing.
