Beyoncé will headline the halftime show this year, which will be streamed online for the first time ever at CBSSports.com. Seven hours of pre-game coverage will take place before the kickoff on CBS, which is scheduled for Eastern on February 3rd.
CBS has sold out of ad slots for the upcoming telecast of Super Bowl XLVII (47) at a record average cost of 3.8-million dollars for a 30-second spot. Some ads were sold for more than four-million bucks.

A new study says people who drink diet sodas or fruit drinks are much more likely to be depressed than normal people . . . up to 50 percent more, for the fruit drinks. (--But it doesn't say the diet drinks CAUSE depression. In fact it's probably the other way around . . . another study found evidence that depressed people tend to crave more sweet foods.)
