Not that anyone ever remembers, but tomorrow is Groundhog Day.

 if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day, then spring will come early; if it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and the winter weather will continue for six more weeks.

During a Super Bowl press conference yesterday, BEYONCÉ admitted that she used a backing track at the inauguration . . . quote, "Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound-check I did not feel comfortable taking a risk . . . so I decided to sing along with my pre-recorded track, which is very common in the music industry and I'm very proud of my performance."  When asked if she will sing live at superbowl Sunday?

 But she said she'll be singing live at the Super Bowl.

--One thing Beyoncé wouldn't do was admit that her halftime show will include a DESTINY'S CHILD reunion.

A new BRET MICHAELS song called "You Know You Want It" has hit the Internet.  But it doesn't sound like POISON or any of Bret's typical solo work.  It's a DANCE TRACK . . .

with lyrics like:  Quote, "You know you want it / You know you want it / You know you get it / So you got it / So you flaunt it."  

David Beckham has found a new team. Becks, who left the LA Galaxy last year, has signed a $240,000-a-week contract with Paris St. Germain, but he has already pledged to donate his entire salary to a children’s charity....wait...WHAT????

Wow....what a great guy!!!

“For me it's always been about playing football, I considered other offers on the table. But one of the reasons I wanted to come to Paris was quite unique,” he said. “We've decided my salary will go towards a local children's charity in Paris and that's one of the things we're very excited and proud to be able to do. I'm not sure it's been done before but it's something I'm very passionate about.”

DAN MARINO fooled around with a CBS Sports production assistant back in late 2004 . . . and has a love child to show for it. 

His daughter Chloe is now seven years old.  "The New York Post" says Dan paid his mistress millions of dollars to keep everything on the down-low, and that he has kept in contact with his daughter.  But Dan issued a statement saying he and his wife Claire, whom he married in 1985, are still very much together.
