Beyoncé performed the halftime show last night, and she definitely redeemed herself after the inauguration controversy.  Her performance was solid, and it sounded like she was singing live.  

Midway through the performance, there was indeed a Destiny's Child reunion.

Alicia Keys performed the National Anthem at the beginning of the Super Bowl last night, and she did a great job.  Here's a clip from her performance.   

There was a pretty special moment at the beginning of the Super Bowl last night, when the Sandy Hook Elementary School choir performed "America the Beautiful."  Part-way through the song, they were joined by Jennifer Hudson.  Here's a clip from their performance.

According to Twitter, the Super Bowl . . . including BEYONCÉ'S halftime show . . . generated 24.1 million tweets.  The halftime show accounted for 5.5 million of those, with a peak of 268,000 tweets-per-minute at the end of her performance.

Matt Farmer . . . who auditioned for "American Idol" on last Wednesday's episode . . . just admitted that he lied about suffering a brain injury while serving in Iraq.  (He says the story was completely made up.  He says he's been a chronic liar since he was young and he's coming forward because he wants to put it all behind him.  Read more here, including comments from soldiers who served with him and called him a "fraud."

JUSTIN BIEBER and SELENA GOMEZ may be back together.  Selena apparently spent the night at Justin's on Friday, and was spotted leaving early Saturday morning . . . trying to keep her face hidden....(Check out a pic here.)  (Radar Online)

Country singer Sarah Darling is featured in tonight’s (2/4) episode of ABC’s The Bachelor. Sarah surprises Bachelor Sean Lowe and his date with a concert in Whitefish, Montana. She said this about Sean -  “You know, he’s like this really down-to-Earth, kind of almost like all-American boy. And he really is like that in person. And I guess it helps that, you know, this entire season he’s like never...he never has his shirt on, which is interesting. [Laughs] ...for most girls.”

Sarah performs two songs on the show from her new EP, Home to Me. The Bachelor airs tonight at 8PM Eastern on ABC.
